Slide Wind connects precipitation to a place.

It relates from where water comes, how it reaches the city and how quickly it arrives,

and to where it falls.

Slide This series of screenshots illustrates patterns of wind direction relating to precipitation. Slide Typical wind direction is southwest to northeast, from Albuquerque, between the two mountain ranges, and into Santa Fe. Slide Here is a close-up of that pattern. Santa Fe is at 35.6870 N, 105.9378 S Slide Typical wind direction is southwest to northeast, from Albuquerque, between the two mountain ranges, and into Santa Fe. Slide Slide Slide Slide Slide Winds from the northwest bring cold snaps in spring temperatures A water bucket under the blossoming tree on a cold night
will preserve some of the ambient temperature for fruit.
Slide Slide Northwest winds can also bring precipitation, possibly from forest trees. On July 27, 2019, Santa Fe received 0.57-inches of rainfall. Slide Slide Slide Slide October 28, 2019 was the first major snow event for Santa Fe this autumn, and winds crossed the Jemez into Santa Fe.
